When I came to the Christian Park Healthcare Center, I was not able to walk. I was scared to the theray. I felt bad about myself because I thought I was not able to do what I had to do in therapy. I received nothing but encouragement from the staff, therapists, CNAs, nurses, social workers, and everybody! I started to believe I could get better and worked hard in therapy. Today, I can walk and I am going home. Thank you everybody for your Care.

I am well pleased with the care that my mother has received here. This is our first time having to deal with a nursing home and rehab. We did not know what to expect but the staff has kept us well informed of her progress by sending us pictures and phone calls since we are unable to go in and visit her [during the COVID-19 pandemic]. The staff has been very helpful to us even when we come to visit through the window.

The Laurels is a very nice place for someone who needs short and long-term rehabilitation. My mother has been in several times over the years ... The therapy is wonderful and she likes the way they treat her. The staff are friendly and take good care of her. The nurses always keep me posted and updated.

The Laurels of Carson City definitely exceeded my expectations! All of the therapy staff treated me with the utmost respect, and were always cheerful. I always left the therapy gym with a smile, feeling fantastic. It was certainly hard work, but with such caring staff it was worth every minute of my stay.
