My aunt was recently at this nursing home and we cannot thank them enough ... We were very hesitant for her to go to a nursing home because of COVID but were very happy with the stay ... We cannot thank them enough for all they do each and every day during COVID-19.

Helene’s osteoarthritis in her knee was gradually getting worse and worse. She tried everything known to man to try to reduce the pain and improve her mobility, including steroid shots and Synvisc shots to try to help rebuild the cartilage in her knee. Nothing worked, “My knee was still grinding bone on bone and I was in so much pain that I could barely walk or get out of my car!” “I used to be able to shop all day long, but towards the end I was limited to only about 2 hours and wouldn’t dare trying to walk through a mall, one of my favorite places”. “My Occupational Therapist Jill was great! My Physical Therapist Syed was wonderful too. He taught me to work through the pain and pushed me to strive harder when I wanted to give up.” Helene adds, “All of the nursing staff was fantastic, especially my nurses Roxane and Niki and Nursing Assistants Natasha and Ashley. They knew all of the things that I like and made sure that I had them before I even asked.” Helene exclaims, “100% I would recommend Regency at Canton to anyone and everyone I know! Now that I came to Regency at Canton for rehabilitation, I don’t understand how people can go home right after surgery. Regency offers the staff and equipment you need to get better as fast as possible to return home to your independence.”

"My friends and I were thinking about retirement. The question was where shall we go to get the best care? The answer was Maplewood of Marshall Assisted Living. We all agreed that Maplewood was the place to keep us safe and secure. It has the best nutrition and health care. My friends thought a social climate was very important. We could lean on each other when troubled and that makes us happy, with things to do like arts and crafts. Maplewood wins."
