My Mother had been in this home since 2017. I couldn’t ask for better care. She is loved, and she also loves all the staff. Everyone. My mother is in her 5th month of living on the AL side. Very happy with all the staff. Wendy has been great for us. She keeps me up to date with things going on with my mom. My mother loves the food. The staff and nurses are very helpful and professional. My father-in-law needed placed in a nursing home about the same time COVID hit. They went above and beyond in helping us through the process. They continually keep us informed and are polite when we call to check on him. I would highly recommend The Laurels of DeKalb.

My son was brought here to fulfill his end-of-life wishes. I want to say that the staff went above and beyond to keep him, me, and my family comfortable and experience a peaceful end of life. From the attention they made sure he got to providing a courtesy cart and a comfortable place to visit with him. The staff, from the administrators, nurses, CNAs, and even housekeeping, were polite, respectful, and seemed overall happy to be doing their jobs. The environment of the place was overall more peaceful than the previous homes we had been to. I can not thank you enough for the kindness you showed me through the hardest time of my life.
