Been at Laurels of Galesburg for 4 1/2 years. Very professional staff. Treat you like family. Will not claim they are perfect, but humans rarely are. They do give their best. I honestly feel well cared for. I appreciate both the CNAs and the Nurses. They work very hard every day to give us the best care possible.

My mom was recently admitted to the laurels and we are having a good experience, especially with the DON, Violet, MSW Tammy, Business Manager Nicole, Tony L, our CNA during the day, and Tara and Sam CNA at night. The DON and MSW are wonderful, answering many questions and helping us navigate through this new time in our lives. I've never done this, and I'm going through the process with their guidance and it's making it much easier. I appreciate all the care and services they are giving to my mom. There are other people who assist her as well, and I'm sorry I can't mention all of them. I don't know all their names, but everyone we've come in contact with has been very nice and kind to her.

My dear mother has been at the Laurels of Galesburg now for a little over two years. The staff has been wonderful. I visit daily, and they have become a second family to us, treating all of us with kindness and even with love. They do a good job of anticipating her needs, and they are thorough and conscientious with her care. I especially want to commend the staff for keeping things running through this recent 60-hour power outage -- they handled the situation with professionalism and grace. As a retired RN myself, I know the challenges they face, and I am happy to give them five stars.

“We have been in a few nursing homes, and this is by far the cleanest, and everyone is always happy!  The food is good and always plentiful.  They have wonderful activities and very good therapy.  And by the way, some of my favorite people work there.”
