I left a very negative review.i erased it because for 1 I suffer from anxiety and probably said some things that were reflection of that..im not saying I made things up but Linda did every thing she could to fix me..I told her I would erase the review and she told me not to..she said that my health is far more important than any review im greatful for her .I recommend this place for sure..sorry to bug you all

I have been here for 2 months now and really like it and the people, both the workers and the patients. I had fluid in my lungs and on my heart. They have helped me bunches and have been super nice and supportive and I am doing better.

Hi, I needed to spend about 6 weeks at Laurels of Kent after I spent a couple weeks at the University of Michigan Hospital West to get a surgery on my right foot which required a wound vac and antibiotics to treat a staff infection so I am now at Laurels of Kent as I write this review. I chose to have my own room since I do not sleep when normal people sleep due to severe chronic pain and this was not a problem. The staff have been very nice and they always bring me Orange juice and cookies when I ask. It is very important for my healing and mental health that I receive my medicine that keeps my pain under control within a reasonable time frame and I must say that Laurels of Kent is doing a wonderful job at this and compared with other nursing homes they are second to none. I am healing so fast because of not only this but I asked for physical therapy everyday and for 6 little meals a day instead of 3 large meals and lots of protein and I said I want to lose 25lbs and gain strength so when I leave here I feel great and powerful not weak overweight and feeling terrible. Well I’ve only been here for about 3 weeks and my wounds healed from a 1 inch diameter and now one of the two wounds is completely healed and the big wound is about an 1/8 inch in diameter and very shallow so the wound care team discontinued the vac and my foot isn’t even bleeding. I am a 54 year old man healing at speeds of a 25 year old and this is due to not just one thing but many things that all add up and I’ve lost 3lbs and feel better.

This is Chris T. This place is incredible. It's clean, very respectful and very comfortable place. Very nice staff. I recommend this place to everyone that needs rehab. They actually care about ppl. Been to a few places as a guest. The best place yet

I am thankful when I spoke to the admission coordinator Janie for information on how to begin the process of moving in a nursing home. She was more than helpful explaining the process and making sure I understood everything. She took the time to really listen and made sure she answered all my questions, she was so nice, helpful and so easy to talk to and open up, I appreciate her time and caring personality and honesty.
