My great uncle was at this facility and the nurses and aides were great the Transportation Scheduler DeAra is amazing she is always on top of appointments and she would sit with him at all of his appointments my family was grateful to have her!!

I had the pleasure of meeting your transportation coordinator DeAra Turner at the Hollywood casino and she was beautifully spoken and was she is very good with the patients! I thought it was so cool that the facility has trips like this for our elderly and she’s very good representation of the laurels

Some great aids and nurses here. Gayle, Sheila were great they were always willing and able to care for me without hesitation. I never had to ask twice. Molly in PT was great as well. There was several other nurses and aids that were great but names escape me. I did have a couple bad experiences but I’m not going to let that ruin all the good they do.

I am/was a resident of this facility I love this place. I was here for 3+ months and got to know everyone pretty well. The staff tries their best. I know there are staffing issues and all but everyone I had was patient and kind. Even when I could hear them being yelled at by another resident. They kept their cools and just soldiered on. I was treated like a human. I was NEVER made to feel embarrassed or like I was a burden. Often times, the nurses and aids were the only people I had to talk to the entire day. And they always would spend the time talking. Thursday Snow Cones! The food! It was good. Not gourmet, but not gross industrial food either. They care. It's not a 4 star hotel, it's a nursing home. There will be smells and sounds and issues. You can tell that the staff is doing their best. And that matters. The therapists are EXCELLENT! Megan and Caroline and Denice and all the others. The support they gave, really helped me get up and walking and moving again. I can do hard things. Denice told me that and I use it all the time. The best thing is that the Laurels admin are open to suggestions. The therapists are open to suggestion. I even met the Director of Operations for the midwest and he took my suggestion of a bird bath seriously and agreed. If you know what you are expecting, the Laurels is a great place. If you are expecting a 4 star hotel with staff catering to your every whim, no. But they care and will do their best for you.

Staffing and knowledge of nurses, doctors, physical therapy, admissions, front desk personnel, and the dietary department, is SUPERB! I've never had a unpleasant experience at the Laurels of West Carrollton!

MY HUSBAND DONNIE WAS IN THE LAURELS FOR ABOUT 4 MONTHS FOR REHAB/THERAPY & IV ANTIBIOTICS DURING HIS STAY AS WELL FROM AN INFECTION. THE CARE & THERAPY TEAM THEY HAVE HERE IS VERY GOOD I MUST SAY I WAS PLEASED WITH HOW WELL THEY TOOK CARE OF HIM..I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY FOR FAMILY CARE...THANK YOU..& GOD BLESS....LETHA

The staff here is a hardworking team! They seem to be genuinely kind and caring. It’s very clean and inviting. The smoking area is peaceful and I’m so happy my grandpa can go out there as often as he likes throughout the day. It’s really relieving to know he’s in good hands as I live 5 hours away and can’t visit him often. The only complaint I’ve heard so far is about the food…but thank you guys so much for all you do!!!
