CNA Terrance Ray took very good care of my Aunt she had no worries and I had none either everything I hoped for it to be with so much happening in nursing homes. I hope he is doing well and prospering in life.

Regency of Westland has done amazing job of taking care of my mother. .I took care of my Mom for 5 years managing her care while her dementia progressed. Being a social worker i was very familiar with nursing home and rebhab centers and the challenges they face, so I had done my research and Regency of Westland came highly recommended from my colleagues. So when my mom fell and needed physical therapy I requested that she go there. They worked with her to try and get her to walk again but she was not willing to participate. The staff there are angels they love there work and take great care of my Mom and not just im there. My family and I go several times a week and at different times and she is always cared for. No place is perfect and I love that any time I have concerns the staff is available to help resolve the issue or answer my questions. They also make sure they call me if my mom is having issues and keep me updated on steps they have taken to resolve them and keep her safe.❤️

excellent care great food prompt delivery of medication’s would highly recommend. My mother-in-law was there for rehab for approximately 10 days and made a fantastic recovery. The physical therapist were amazing.

My grandma is currently living here, my mom and I couldn’t be more pleased, she’s making friends and socializing, she’s a lot more happy there than she was at home. The staff are taking great care of her and the facility is extremely clean!

Man if I could give this place infinite stars I would, the best and most beautiful nurses and staff work at this facility the food was on point the place is super clean. I was treated like such a king from the moment I got there I was just discharged this morning and it was really bittersweet leaving everybody but just know if your loved one ends up there you will not have to worry they are in the best hands around hands down!!! My stepfather was there for 2 weeks to recover from surgery and I thought the experience was great. The facility is very clean and beautiful and the staff was very helpful.

My elderly mother broke her hip and required extended rehab after surgery. The hospital gave me 2 rehab options and thankfully, I selected Regency at Westland. Our family was pleased with the services - especially the Care and PT staff. Everyone was willing to work with you to ensure a good experience. The food was good too, adapting the meals to the residents needs. The facility was always clean, too.

My mother stayed at Regency at Westland Newburgh/Ford from August 10th to September 12th. While it is a very nice facility, it is very evident that they are very short staffed and/or lack compassion for a very vulnerable population. Special kudos to Jennifer, CNA and Kaycee, CNA. If they were assigned to my mom, I knew she would be very well cared for. It is very obvious that they throughly enjoy caring for others. They are very compassionate, patient and efficient. My mom is non-verbal from a stroke, thus it required patience, attentiveness and compassion. She was admitted here to gain strength before transferring home. Our family made it our duty to frequently visit her due to instances of other residents roaming in her room, delayed call light response of up to as long as 35 minutes, not to mention she was left in her wheelchair after therapy for at least 6 hours. When administration was notified of her being left in a wheelchair for an extended period of time, she stated that she would follow up and asked me “Do you want your mother to go to bed at a certain time?” I explained to her that sitting too long anywhere is a risk for pressure ulcers/bed sores. The goal of my communication was just to ensure this didn’t happen again. After all my mom is an adult. Overall, it was an “ok” stay but only because we strongly advocated for my mom and ensured we frequently visited. Some people are not as blessed to say the same thing. I will also say that anytime I spoke to anyone on the phone, I felt rushed and unheard this also included social work. Proceed with caution and do your research! I hope this helps someone else.

My cousin was recently at this facility for iv therapy and rehab for 2 weeks and she received outstanding care. The staff (especially Monica) was very attentive and took great care of her. If ever you or your family are in need of assistance, I would recommend Regency at Westland 100%!

I was at this facility from 07/27/2024 to 08/18/2024. There were a few instances that I was unhappy with but overall my 3 week stay here was pretty good. I wouldn’t hesitate to refer this place to other people and if I’m ever in need of their services I would definitely consider going here again. The food was decent for the most part. Four people I would like to give 5 stars to. Sally, Stephanie and a male nurse that I didn’t get his name and Brad in physical therapy. I was in room 306 if that helps administration identify the male nurse. These 4 people gave me the impression that they care about the patients and about their jobs.
