Short-Term Nursing and Rehabilitation in Detroit, MI

We had a great experience. We went for a couple of weeks for rehab after a hospital stay. The employees were absolutely amazing. They had a reasonable procedure to follow when entering the facility, to make sure you weren't bringing Covid 19 in. We were so thankful we could spend time with our family member. The other care facilities in the area wanted to isolate for 14 days or not allow visitors at all. I would definitely recommend.

I enjoyed choosing my meals and entrees each day at Bluffs Park. My favorite was the baked goods. My therapy was with Amy, OT and Teddy, PTA and it was excellent. I started out walking with a walker, progressed to a cane, then became stronger and able to walk on my own. I was walking up and down a full flight of stairs when I left.

We had been to another rehab in the area and had a horrible experience in the short time my father was there so after another short hospital stay we decided to come to the Laurels. The care at the Laurels has been wonderful and the staff really care about my father and his needs.
